There is a small learning curve with Make, which is why I created this basic navigation video to help. How it works Learn the basics Security Trusted by 2M+ businesses Features Build flexible workflows App integrations Explore 6,000+ app connections Whats new. Zapier Automation Platform No-code automation across 6,000+ apps. With Zapier, you can do more than just connect your apps - you can automate entire processes from beginning to end Check out the following list of triggers and actions you can use with Airtable, Microsoft Outlook, and Email by Zapier. Zapiers automation tools make it easy to connect Airtable and Z Workforce. You can do the exact same thing that I mentioned above with Make, and you can also trigger it with a script instead of a button. Do even more with Airtable + Microsoft Outlook + Email by Zapier. The specific use case I am aiming for is as follows: When a record in view X in Airtable changes in some fields to the value Y, trigger the Zap. I’ve written an entire post here about Make vs. Make is infinitely more powerful & flexible & customizable than Zapier, and it is also significantly cheaper as well. However, I strongly recommend using Make instead of Zapier. Google Sheets is free and offers a ton more records than the free version of Airtable. Both options are code-free and update in real time. (You can also add in extra parameters if you’d like, but those are unnecessary as well.) Airtable has a lot more features, and while it can present data in spreadsheet form, its a much more dynamic database solution. Just add the Record ID of the record as a parameter to the end of the webhook URL, and then have Zapier find the record based on its ID. Optionally: triggers when any record (new or existing) is first added to a selected view. Your button can just trigger the webhook URL on its own. This integration helps by automatically sending a Mailjet email using a template when there is a new a record in a specific Airtable view. You could use a script, but it’s unnecessary.
